Mood Board (LO2)

Mood board advantages 

  • Allows team and client to explore and make judgements about the overall aesthetic (the 'look' and 'sound' of the product)
  • Good judgement at this phase can help the product to appeal to its target audience and to connect to, or stand out from, competitor products (e.g. a luxury car advert that has a recognisable 'luxury car advert' feeling in its choice of imagery and text; a website for a new bar that 'feels' more quickly and characterful than those for others in the same town.)
