The written text of a stage play, screenplay, or broadcast. Specifically: the one used in production or performance.

A shooting script is a screenplay version used to produce a motion picture. Shooting scripts are distinct from spec scripts because they use scene numbers and follow well-defined procedures specifying how writing revisions should be implemented and circulated.
